New Year’s Worship – date TBA
Goodbye 2015. Amid all of the resolutions and resolutions to not make resolutions, we wanted to begin the year off with some worship and games. Food and drinks will help you stay warm and happy! We’ll also turn off our Advent Tree for the year and let it get some well-deserved rest.
Live Nativity – date TBA
Luther the donkey and friends will make an appearance at our second live nativity. Coat the kids and bring them by for a first-century experience (or as close as we dare to get). After you’ve taken your pictures with the animals and said “hi” to Mary and Joseph, feel free to duck inside and sip some hot cocoa while you listen to Christmas music and fellowship with us.
Advent Tree Lighting – date TBA
Jesus is for everyone, and so we’re kicking off our holiday events with some deep worship for people of all denominations. Our guest speaker and Pastor Matthew J. Lucio (Seventh-day Adventist Church) will lead us in some of our favorite songs and texts. We’ll also be serenaded. After worship, we’ll bundle up and head outside to thank God for heat as we stand around the tree for a prayer of dedication. As the red lights move to white, we’re reminded that Jesus washed our sins clean in his blood. Hot drinks will follow in the school.
